Timbers and Treasures was started by husband and wife team of photographers, Ed and Teri Serecky. Ed once stated that he wanted people to want the pictures he captured throughout Detroit. Teri set off to make it happen, but included some of her own.
After interest was shown at various art shows and vendor events for common prints, they expanded to printing the products on assorted media as well. This includes, but not limited to, calendars, key chains, wall hangings, facemasks...basically the sky has been the limit of where the pictures can be placed.
Currently, they are regulars at Detroit's Historic Eastern Market through the summer on Sundays.
Recently, they expanded to a location in the Downriver Community-inside the Taylor Town Trade Center (22525 Ecorse Road, Taylor MI 48180).
Hours and days open: Thursday-12 to 5, Friday- 11 to 6, Saturday and Sunday-10 to 6
As possible, they attend other art and vendor shows around Southeast Michigan. To see where they will be, check the calendar.
Recently, they added their photos on different items so people can get what they want on masks, water bottles, mugs and added limited customized products as well.
Timbers and Treasures is a division of Serecky Photography.
